As the olympics is officially over just wanna share something about the mindset of the indian parents about sports in my country . We often told from our childhood that sports will not bring the food in your table . It will not give the respect in your life.Mostly whenever a kid or adult tells that he want to take a sport as his carrier everyone around them be shellshocked . Mostly people think that sport is to be played for fun and for our health . But they forgot that sports will teach our kids that to deal with failures and learning from our success. Where in schools for 10th and 12th the PET peroid is borrowed by physics or chemistry teachers 😂and we expect our athletes to win tons of medals for our country . Everybody just wants the results .Nobody focusses on the process . Government gives croes of money to athletes win they win medals for our country .But did they get proper infrastucture when they erer trainning ? However the intent shown by educational system is very critical90% perfect of kids dont even get the chance to see if they are good in any sport or not just hope that one day that sport became a important topic has maths and science and we become a sporting nation

Wow your saying is very true especially about game period I miss them 😅. Great that I didn’t take science as my subject. Before India won gold in Olympics every parents and teachers were like this but I think after that scene is going to be reversed. You are very right in saying that we focus more on winning rather than the path and hard work. Very nice. Happiest independence day 🙏👏😊
