The death of a medical student in kerala india at her husbands house allegedly due to the dowry issue has sparkled the anger among the people over the country. The 24 year old vismaya ayervedic student has allegedly committed sucide in his husbands home in Sasthamkotta district in south kerala.
The vismaya family has told that there daughter has been harrassed and been tortured by her husband S kiran kumar was assistant motor vehicle inspector . He has been arrestted by the police under indian penal code 304B(dowry death ) under the complaint given by the parents of vismaya. Vismaya was beaten dragged and stamped on her face : family. Highlighted for the torture the vismaya kin has highlighted that kumar family has been mistreating her for over a couple of months for the car which he got as a dowry for her marriage . Kiran kumar used to beat vismaya stated that he deserves more but he only got less so he uses to unless her anger on her . Before the day of her death vismaya has sent a series of watsapp messages to her family and the pictures of the wounds which was caused due to the beating . She also texted that she feels unsafe with her husband . Dowry S .kiran kumar acutually got in his marriage. As per vismaya father Thiruvikram nair his family has given 100 sovereigns of gold one acre land besides a car with is worth of rupees 10lakh during their weeding in 2020
